ILM Academy was started with the noble mission of instilling in our children, a strong sense of purpose as Muslims and the love of and pursuit of knowledge. The founders realized that this would only be possible by offering a program covering at least elementary and possibly middle and high school.
Given the resources available, our strategy has been to implement our vision and mission in a phased approach. In sha Allah, our complete offering of grades will be completed over a number of years. Since our inception in 2008, we have fulfilled our commitment of expanding our highest grade as shown below:

2008:
- ILM Academy started with Pre-K to 1st Grade in August 2008
2009
- Grade offering expanded to add 2nd Grade in August 2009
2010
- Grade offering expanded to add 3rd Grade in August 2010
2011
- 4th Grade will be offered starting August 2011
2012
- 5th Grade will be offered starting August 2012
6th Grade and onwards: 2013 - Depending on resources available and commitment from parents, the ILM community will decide on whether to offer middle and high school.
